The Designated Safeguarding Lead is Mrs Julia Bowles and our two Alternate Designated Leads are Miss Dekker and Mrs Palmer. Our Safeguarding Governor is Mrs K. Cook.
Parents should be aware that school takes its roles and responsibilities regarding the safeguarding or children very seriously and works in close partnership with parents to do so. The school will take any reasonable action to ensure the welfare and safety of its pupils is maintained.
In cases where the school has reason to be concerned that a child may be subject to ill treatment, neglect or other forms of abuse, staff have a duty of care to follow Suffolk’s Safeguarding Children Board procedures and inform Children’s Social Care of their concern. We also follow the Suffolk SET procedures for child protection.
